The global transport and logistics service provider DSV A\/S, headquartered in Hedehusene (Denmark), has today published the encouraging business figures for the completed third quarter of 2021. Due to the group’s growth, the current CFO Jens H. Lund will take on the position of COO. Michael Ebbe will move into his previous role. Both have been with DSV for a long time.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Jens Bj\u00f8rn Andersen, CEO DSV A\/S: “In August, we completed the acquisition of the Global Integrated Logistics business from Agility and took over a well-managed company, which is now joined by a team of qualified new colleagues. The integration has started well, and in the coming period, our two organizations will be merged into one. The transport markets continue to be characterized by disruptions and imbalances, which present extraordinary challenges for both our customers and us. Under these exceptional market conditions, we are pleased to report solid results across all divisions.”<\/p>\n

Expansion of Management<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Due to significant growth in recent years and the increasing demand for digitalization and a focus on continuous development and optimization of the business, DSV is expanding its board.<\/p>\n

Jens H. Lund has been the group’s CFO since 2002 and is now taking on a new role as Group COO, responsible for the development and optimization of the business, the digital strategy, IT operations, and further strengthening the group’s infrastructure and global network. Jens H. Lund has been strongly committed to these areas over the years, and the change in management structure will allow him to focus more on operational business and drive and support further development.<\/p>\n

Michael Ebbe will be appointed as the new CFO of the group. Michael Ebbe has been part of the financial management team since joining the DSV group in 2007. He is currently the deputy CFO of the group and will continue to be responsible for financial reporting, treasury, international shared service center, compliance, and insurance. Over the years, Michael Ebbe has been involved in the development of DSV’s finance department and played an important role in the integration of acquired companies.<\/p>\n
