This gives Dachser a total of 6,100 square meters in the industrial goods sector and around 3,300 square meters in the food sector at this location.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Kempten\/Erfurt) With the additional space in the transshipment warehouse, there are now 49 loading gates available for loading and unloading trucks. &#8220;With this expansion, we can make the processes in goods handling even more efficient,&#8221; says Dr. Rimbert J. Kelber, General Manager of the Dachser Logistics Center Erfurt. &#8220;In addition to better accommodating daily fluctuations and peak loads, we are creating the best conditions for our further growth.&#8221; The hall expansion will create ten new jobs at the location. For the summer of next year, the logistics service provider also plans to build new office space with sanitary and storage facilities, as well as a modern break room totaling 640 square meters for the employees on site.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Reliable Partner Even in Challenging Times<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>&#8220;We are investing in the future of the location and ensuring that we can provide our logistics services for our customers in the region at the usual high quality at all times,&#8221; says Alexander Tonn, COO Road Logistics. &#8220;During the pandemic and even afterwards, we were able to maintain our delivery capability reliably thanks to the tremendous commitment of our employees. We have been and continue to be a stable partner for our customers and a reliable supplier for the region,&#8221; Tonn added.<\/p>\n<p>Dachser has been present at the Thuringian location since 2004, providing logistics services for customers in the industrial goods and food sectors.
