Authors Michael Kuchenbecker, LNC LogisticNetwork Consultants GmbH, Horst Manner-Romberg, MRU GmbH, and Janine Zimmermann, Drees &amp; Sommer SE, conduct a holistic examination of the challenges faced by cities and municipalities in creating a functional supply and disposal structure. Specifically, the challenges for successfully managing the last mile are discussed using novel building concepts and car-free, green neighborhoods.
