The Saxon logistics service provider WECK+POLLER is rebranding and will be known as WP Holding starting in September. The new company name and the also new slogan “Competence from Saxony” will now connect the strong roots in the industrial region of Saxony with a view beyond regional borders in its external presentation.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

(Zwickau) With the rebranding, WP Holding aims to emphasize its international operations for clients that often cross national, and even continental, borders through a short, easily memorable company name that resonates even beyond the German-speaking area. Along with the new company name WP Holding GmbH, a broader positioning and further modernization of processes for customers is also planned.<\/p>\n

For years, WECK+POLLER has looked beyond national borders despite its strong roots in the industrial region of Saxony and has developed into a European transport and logistics company. This connection between regional anchoring and international orientation will also be reflected in the company name in the future. “Even under the new company name WP Holding GmbH, ‘Competence from Saxony’ is much more for us than just a slogan; it is a daily lived reality, regardless of where we are working for our clients,” emphasizes Doreen Paesold-Runge, Managing Director of WP Holding.<\/p>\n

Little changes in the operational area<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Even after the rebranding, almost everything remains the same for customers, business partners, and suppliers in the operational and organizational areas. Effective September 1, WECK+POLLER Freight Forwarding and S&L Kirchberg will also be integrated as WP Freight Forwarding and WP Logistics under the umbrella of the parent company WP Holding. Both will thus be able to benefit from the improved and more efficient organizational structure of WP Holding. “Our two subsidiaries will continue to offer the usual high quality level in our logistics services,” explains Heiko Nowak, Managing Director of WP Holding.<\/p>\n

About WP Holding<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Founded in 2007, the medium-sized logistics service provider WP Holding, headquartered in Zwickau, employs more than 1,000 staff at six locations in Germany. The offering includes integrated logistics solutions from combined forwarding and logistics services with the market-leading recycling processes of a waste management company and the know-how of a specialized production area. The Saxon transport and logistics company has its own fleet of around 400 vehicles and currently manages 155,000 square meters of warehouse space.<\/p>\n
