With this, OSL has a powerful logistics service provider by its side that can reliably handle the increasing shipment volume in the metropolitan area east of Cologne. The previous system partner responsible for the area, Kost, Attendorn, will step down at the end of the year.<\/p>\n<p>(Paderborn\/Meinerzhagen) &#8220;As a renowned, owner-managed logistics company, Heuel Logistics fits very well with us, and we share the same high quality standards,&#8221; explains Petra Welling, Managing Director of Online Systemlogistik GmbH &amp; Co. KG. The membership of Heuel Logistics is the first step towards a new distribution in the postal code areas 51, 57, 58 (Bergisches Land \/ Sauerland). Currently, four trucks depart from there each night towards the OSL hubs, feeding shipments into the network and bringing back loads for distribution: Heuel Logistics operates one truck to the central hubs I and II in Schlitz near Fulda as well as the North hub in Porta Westfalica; one truck is provided by the freight forwarder Kost. This year, the region is expected to be strengthened by an additional partner.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Strong together in Europe<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>By joining Online Systemlogistik, Heuel Logistics enhances the transport processing across Europe. The international services of the family-owned company, founded in 1926, include not only piece goods but also long goods, thermo, and hazardous materials. In addition to its headquarters in Meinerzhagen, Heuel Logistics operates four other locations: in Drolshagen, 15 kilometers away, in Nabburg in the Upper Palatinate, as well as in the Czech Republic and Poland. 380 employees send 1,800 shipments on their way each day.
