The CHI Group announces that it has acquired Sch\u00fcMa Service GmbH in May of this year. The company specializes in customs technical processing, particularly the provision and distribution of goods. Prior to the acquisition, the two companies had already been collaborating for over 15 years.<\/p>\n

(Frankfurt\/Main) “We have been cooperating with Sch\u00fcMa Services GmbH for over 15 years. With the acquisition of the company, we can now expand the CHI Group’s service portfolio to include essential customs services,” explains Kai Domscheit, CEO, CHI Deutschland Cargo Handling GmbH.<\/p>\n

Following the swift and successful integration of Sch\u00fcMa Service GmbH into the CHI Group, the company will now operate under the name CHI Customs Clearance Services GmbH. The company is based in CargoCity S\u00fcd at Frankfurt Airport.<\/p>\n

Important Step for Customers<\/strong><\/h5>\n

“Especially in light of the upcoming 1:1 referencing* in imports, this was an important step for the CHI Group and our customers. The company is already well-prepared for the new requirements and offers its services to both existing CHI customers and new clients or third parties,” says Dominik Mi\u00dfkampf, Head of Business Development, CHI Deutschland Cargo Handling GmbH.<\/p>\n

*1:1 referencing<\/strong> means that for incoming air freight consolidated shipments, each item in the ICS declaration must correspond to an item in the summary declaration.<\/em><\/p>\n
