Mr. Matthes is responsible for the business strategy and growth of AsstrA. Together with the expert team at AsstrA, we will focus on enhancing our current and future capabilities to provide our customers with top-notch logistics solutions,&#8221; says Sven Matthes.<\/p>\n<p>During his studies at the University of Dresden, Sven Matthes began his logistics career at Lufthansa before moving to DB Schenker. After graduating, he continued at DB Schenker, rising from project management to a leadership position in the company&#8217;s European Global Project division.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Started the succession program this year<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>&#8220;In the last 7 years, I have had the honor of being both Chairman of the Board and CEO at AsstrA. As the company continues to grow, the board decided this year to start the succession program and to transfer the CEO role to Mr. Sven Matthes in the future. Mr. Matthes has over 25 years of experience in logistics. I am confident that his proven leadership skills and extensive expertise in global operations management will bring innovative approaches and ideas to the business. This will help us continue to be successful in today&#8217;s market. I am pleased to hand over the CEO role into capable hands.
