Webasto supports the Italian company with its battery and climate control technology. The ecarry has been specifically developed for service companies operating in urban environments.<\/p>\n<p>(Gilching) Green-G, the young subsidiary of the Italian Goriziane Holding S.p.A., focuses on the development of electric vehicles and systems in times of climate change and sustainability. With the fully electric ecarry, Green-G is now making its debut in the municipal vehicle market.<\/p>\n<p>The ecarry has been specifically designed for service companies operating in urban environments. Suitable applications include waste disposal services, horticulture, urban logistics, and last-mile deliveries. The vehicle has dimensions similar to a conventional small transporter, making it easy to maneuver. It has an N1 road approval, weighs a maximum of 3.5 tons, and can reach speeds of up to 80 kilometers per hour. The standard version of the ecarry is equipped with a 35-kilowatt-hour lithium-nickel-manganese-cobalt battery from Webasto. The premium variant is powered by two batteries with a total capacity of 70 kilowatt-hours. Depending on whether one or two batteries are installed, the municipal vehicle can cover up to 250 kilometers without recharging.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Special Control Strategy Developed<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Green-G also relies on Webasto technology for the interior climate control of the small transporter. An electric high-voltage heater is used to heat the interior of the vehicle, converting direct current into heat with minimal loss. An integrated climate system in the vehicle provides the necessary cooling inside the ecarry. Since all thermal management functions (heating and cooling) typically consume a lot of energy, Webasto&#8217;s engineers have developed a special control strategy for the ecarry that saves energy based on external weather conditions. To complement the climate control in the ecarry, a control unit is used. It regulates all HVAC devices (fans, blowers, coolant pumps, and high-voltage devices) according to the required operating mode.<\/p>\n<h5><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-12601\" src=\"https:\/\/loginfo24.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2025\/12\/Webasto_6.7.21.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"659\" \/>Reducing Pollutant Emissions in Municipal Vehicles<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>With the ecarry, the two companies aim to contribute to reducing pollutant emissions and noise in the operational areas of municipal vehicles. The ecarry is just the beginning; more electric vehicles are to follow. &#8220;We want to enrich the world with innovative technological solutions that align with ecological sustainability.
