The focus of the SANTANA project (Services and Data Network Port of Hamburg) by the Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) and DAKOSY Datenkommunikationssystem AG, which will run for 30 months, is the development of a digital infrastructure that aims to further connect privately organized logistics with public infrastructure and traffic management.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Hamburg) The goal is to create a joint &#8220;network of networks.&#8221; The digital service offerings will be made more accessible through a common marketplace for the stakeholders involved in the transport processes in the port and hinterland. &#8220;I am pleased about the funding of the SANTANA project. This funding once again demonstrates the national significance of the Port of Hamburg. It is important to tap into previously unexplored potentials in the networking of multimodal transport and logistics chains, thereby creating both economic benefits and reducing emissions,&#8221; says Michael Westhagemann, Senator for Economic Affairs and Innovation.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;By connecting logistical data with information from the infrastructure sector, we achieve a quantum leap in digital transparency. This will further accelerate processes in the port and hinterland,&#8221; states Dieter Spark, CEO of DAKOSY. Together with associated partners HHLA, EUROGATE, and the Hamburg Vessel Coordination Center (HVCC), the consortium partners HPA and DAKOSY will implement a total of six measures in this project to optimize the control of operations on water, on the road, and on the rail. Among other things, traffic optimization on the road network in the port is planned through quantum-inspired technology for real-time control of the traffic light network.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Open Test Field Architecture<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>&#8220;The open test field architecture will provide an environment with easy access for future innovations from business and science through planned Living Labs.
