FreightTech companies provide digital support to players in logistics to manage logistical processes. This is exactly what TIMOCOM&#8217;s Smart Logistics System does, accompanying customers from business initiation to payment processing. More and more market participants are utilizing this service.<\/h5>\n<p>Recently, the IT company surpassed the mark of 50,000 customers and is pleased about the sustainable trust within the logistics industry: &#8220;This is a milestone in our company history and an important step towards our vision of a world without logistical challenges,&#8221; comments Tim Thiermann, Managing Partner of TIMOCOM.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The willingness to digitize has increased enormously due to the extraordinary conditions of the last two years. This is also reflected in our customer growth,&#8221; says Tim Thiermann, Managing Partner of TIMOCOM. &#8220;Providing them with a reliable platform where they can find new business partners and simplify their work processes is and will remain our goal.&#8221; The boom in FreightTech is not only evident in TIMOCOM&#8217;s business figures: Fraunhofer SCS has found that a large portion of the approximately 350 logistics start-ups now offering their services in the German-speaking area provide technology or services that support logistics services.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Transport Market Remains Tense<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>TIMOCOM&#8217;s Smart Logistics System offers players in logistics digital support in managing logistical processes \u2013 from business initiation to payment processing. Up to 800,000 freight and cargo space offers are posted daily by more than 135,000 users in the freight exchange. In 2021, there were often over 1 million international freight offers per day for which suitable cargo space was searched in the system. Additionally, over the course of the year, more than 175,000 trucks were tracked through the system, and nearly 37 million routes were calculated.<\/p>\n<p>Logistics is gaining importance, which is also due to the recently very tense situation in the transport market. &#8220;The challenges of driver shortages and limited transport capacities will continue to occupy the global economy in the coming year,&#8221; says Gunnar Gburek, Head of Business Affairs.
