In this role, he will be responsible for the global IT of MAN Truck &amp; Bus starting June 1, 2021, which includes the production plants, logistics centers, and the company&#8217;s national sales companies as user groups. Wehner succeeds Dr. Stephan Fingerling.<\/p>\n<p>(Munich) As of June 1, 2021, Andr\u00e9 Wehner will take on the position of Chief Information Officer at MAN Truck &amp; Bus. Digitalization plays a special role in the transformation of MAN, as it opens up entirely new opportunities and challenges for the transport industry. The megatrend of digitalization is a game changer for new business models and services. On the other hand, digitalization contributes to the optimization of internal processes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am very pleased to have gained a highly experienced manager like Andr\u00e9 Wehner for this position, with whom we will further develop IT in line with the NewMAN strategy,&#8221; says Christian Schenk, Board Member for Finance, IT &amp; Law at MAN Truck &amp; Bus.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Previously at \u0160KODA <\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Before joining MAN, Andr\u00e9 Wehner led the corporate development and digitalization department at \u0160KODA AUTO for the past five years and was previously Chief Information Officer at the Czech car manufacturer for over three years.
