With the acquisition of Cars&amp;Cargo, commercial shippers in France, Germany, and the Benelux region can flexibly rely on guaranteed capacities. sennder continues to consider strategic acquisitions to further expand and strengthen its existing offering in Europe.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Cambria',serif\">(Berlin) <\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Cambria',serif\">sennder, Europe\u2019s leading digital freight forwarder, announced today the acquisition of the Dutch freight company Cars&amp;Cargo, which operates in France and Benelux. As part of the strategic acquisition, the fleet of 240 trucks from Cars&amp;Cargo will be integrated into sennOS to expand capacities and benefit from the transparency and efficiency advantages of the sennder operating system.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Cambria',serif\">By connecting the fleet to sennder\u2019s network, further important synergies are created: commercial shippers and freight carriers in Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg will gain access to increased capacities and the premium service of Cars&amp;Cargo. The fleet will be fully digitized and embedded in sennder\u2019s technology, enabling digital fleet management, route optimization, and a seamless onboarding process.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><b><span style=\"font-family: 'Cambria',serif\">Name Remains Temporarily<\/span><\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Cambria',serif\">The acquisition is another building block in sennder\u2019s strategy to strengthen and continuously develop its existing offering for commercial shippers and freight carriers through targeted partnerships and acquisitions. Cars&amp;Cargo will initially continue to operate under its existing name. Cars&amp;Cargo has a chartered fleet of 240 trucks that transport more than 43,000 loads per year. Commercial shippers thus gain access to a premium service that meets the highest service standards and flexibly adapts to the needs of freight carriers and commercial shippers: capacities can be provided on request, allowing for immediate implementation of various ad-hoc requests.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Cambria',serif\">sennder\u2019s mission is to prepare the logistics industry for a sustainable future: through the acquisition, Cars&amp;Cargo will be able to increase the efficiency of its truck fleet and benefit from greater transparency in the transport process. sennder will maintain the leasing contracts with freight carriers and will continue not to have its own trucks in its fleet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Cambria',serif\">The acquisition follows the announcement of strategic partnerships between Michelin and Zeitfracht, the acquisition of Uber Freight\u2019s European freight business, and the French competitor Everoad, as well as a joint venture with Poste Italiane.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Cambria',serif\">Bob Snijder, managing director and founder of Cars&amp;Cargo, says:<\/span> <span style=\"font-family: 'Cambria',serif\">\u201cI look forward to integrating our trucks into sennder\u2019s operating system, sennOS.
