The three experienced partners ORTEN Electric-Trucks, Carrier, and Kress have collaborated to create a quiet and clean, fully electric delivery van from Orten with a cooling structure from Kress and a cooling unit from Carrier.<\/p>\n<p>(PressBox\/Bernkastel-Kues) The new CityCooler E 46 Gazelle from Orten offers sustainable fully electric city and local transport logistics emission-free and nearly noiseless with a range of approximately 200 km in real-world use as a freezer vehicle and a payload of 1,000 kg at a total mass of 4,250 kg. The vehicle can be driven with a Class B driver&#8217;s license. The cooling performance goes down to minus 20\u00b0 Celsius and can optionally be heated up to +30\u00b0 Celsius through the Carrier Xarios 600 cooling unit with a temperature recorder. The battery can be fully charged in just about 3.5 hours via a 400 Volt socket and the included mobile wall box. The Carrier cooling system is powered by the vehicle battery both when stationary and in operation. The vehicle is delivered with an FRC certificate.<\/p>\n<p>The experienced medium-sized refrigerated vehicle manufacturer Kress developed a custom-built freezer structure using the well-known high-quality Kress freezer construction technology with dimensions LxWxH 3,420 x 2,050 x 1,920 mm. The FRC-compliant vehicle features a side door, a cold curtain, and load securing strips.<\/p>\n<p>The large Carrier Xarios 600 cooling machine ensures guaranteed cooling performance, even at the highest outside temperatures, documented by the temperature recorder.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>High Tech for Sustainable Future-Oriented Refrigerated Vehicle Logistics<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>The ORTEN Electric-Trucks CityCooler E 46 Gazelle boasts impressive technical advantages. With a drive power of 730 Nm, it is on par with the torque of a TESLA. The 400 Volt Power E-package with proven LFP battery cell technology is free of cobalt and nickel! The synchronous E-motor is water-cooled with a drive power of 110 kW. The complete charging of the drive battery is effortlessly done via an integrated 22 kW AC onboard charger at any 380 Volt socket. The mobile wall box unit is included in the delivery.<\/p>\n<p>The ORTEN Electric-Trucks E 46 Gazelle with CityCooler structure meets the newly approved funding guidelines of the BVMI, and 80% of the differential costs of the base chassis between electric vehicle and combustion engine are eligible for funding.
