Adjusted for the sale of the parcel division in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, this results in a revenue increase of 4.7 percent.<\/p>\n<p>(Bad Neustadt \/ Nuremberg) \u201cWe look back on a successful business year 2020,\u201d say the managing partners Hans-Georg Geis and Wolfgang Geis. \u201cWe are very satisfied with both the development of revenue and results.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Although the revenue of the Geis Group decreased slightly by 3.3 percent compared to 2019, the company sold its parcel services in the Czech Republic and Slovakia at the turn of the year 2019\/2020. Adjusted for this effect, Geis achieved a revenue increase of 4.7 percent.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Growth Driver Air Freight<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>The main growth drivers were air freight with imports of hygiene and protective materials as well as the entire B2C sector. The number of transport and logistics orders processed at the 127 Geis locations across Europe increased by 8.3 percent to 10.64 million in 2020.
