GEODIS, a global leader in supply chain services, offers its customers guaranteed cargo space from China to Europe in response to the particularly tense situation in the sea freight market. The first charter ship is expected to arrive in Hamburg on February 28.<\/p>\n

(Paris) The first ship with a capacity of 1,000 TEU1<\/sup>, operated exclusively by GEODIS, is scheduled to arrive in Hamburg on February 28. It will carry a total of 435 40-foot containers for customers who have faced difficulties securing cargo space at feasible rates with regular carriers due to the current capacity shortages. The next charter ship is set to leave Shanghai on February 10. Depending on demand, GEODIS plans to schedule additional trips in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
