The Rhenus Group acquired all shares of the Bavarian digitalization specialist mdn H\u00fcbner on January 1, 2021. In addition to its headquarters in Nuremberg, mdn H\u00fcbner operates another location in Eching near Munich. In the future, mdn H\u00fcbner will complement the activities of Rhenus Docs to Data in southern Germany.<\/strong><\/p>\n

(Holzwickede\/Nuremberg) Founded in 1964 by Heinz H\u00fcbner in Nuremberg, the family business developed over the following decades from a microfilm manufacturer to a scanning service provider and expert in modern document management. The two company locations in Eching and Nuremberg have been certified according to the quality management standard ISO 9001 since 1994.<\/p>\n

Intensifying Service in Two Additional Urban Areas<\/strong><\/h5>\n

“In the future, we will be able to serve two additional industrial urban areas in the metropolitan regions of Nuremberg and Munich more intensively with our services in the areas of digitalization, process management, and document management. This opens up further potential for Rhenus Docs to Data in southern Germany. mdn H\u00fcbner is also an experienced market player, for example, as a partner in the digitalization of municipalities,” explains Olaf Remmele, Managing Director of Rhenus Office Systems, regarding the acquisition.<\/p>\n

Since mid-2019, Rhenus Docs to Data has combined the services of IOS Information and Organizational Systems and Rhenus Document Services at locations in the Hamburg, Dortmund, and Frankfurt am Main metropolitan areas. The goal is to further develop modern and customer-oriented document processing.<\/p>\n

Sale Intended for Long-Term Future Security<\/strong><\/h5>\n

“In the past three years, we have made significant investments in the renewal and growth of mdn H\u00fcbner, including in scanner technologies and process standardization. With the sale to the sustainably oriented Rhenus Group, we now want to set the course for long-term future security,” says Peter H\u00fcbner, Managing Partner and Owner of mdn H\u00fcbner. Peter H\u00fcbner will remain with the company as Managing Director of mdn H\u00fcbner after the acquisition.<\/p>\n
