A large part of the material flow for both refrigerated and non-refrigerated products will be handled by two highly automated case picking solutions. Once completed, Coop&#8217;s new logistics center will achieve a throughput of more than 600,000 packaging units per day.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>System enables store-specific pallet formation<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>SSI Sch\u00e4fer relies on the 3D-MATRIX Solution<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> for the grocery retailer&#8217;s solution. The unique system allows Coop to achieve both its flexibility and efficiency goals while ensuring store-specific pallet formation. The sequenced provision of packages to case picking robots and workstations for single-item picking is managed by SSI Sch\u00e4fer&#8217;s award-winning shuttle system.
