The Lengerich logistics specialist Sievert assists in the relocation of the artwork ‘ALLESWIRDGUT’ by David Rauer, a metal sculpture. The task required a lot of sensitivity. Renovation work was necessary for the implementation. The relocation of the sculpture took place within Osnabr\u00fcck.<\/p>\n

(Lengerich\/Osnabr\u00fcck) After its realignment at the beginning of the year, Sievert Logistik SE presents itself as a broadly positioned full-service logistics provider. With a comprehensive range of services, the company has since established itself as a reliable partner in warehousing, the building materials sector, waste management, and the plastics industry. Art transports are not included in the service catalog. However, since challenges have always particularly excited the Lengerich logistics specialists, they have now successfully carried out such a task with great sensitivity, relocating David Rauer’s metal sculpture ALLESWIRDGUT<\/em>. The artwork was installed in the Osnabr\u00fcck Castle Garden this summer and had to be relocated due to renovation work.<\/p>\n

Flexibility is Part of the Business Principle<\/strong><\/h5>\n

“Our goal is to always be close to our customers. Being flexible is part of our business principle in this context,” says Rui Macedo, CEO of Sievert Logistik SE. Without hesitation, he agreed when the request came recently asking if Sievert could assist in the implementation of a sculpture. “Such assignments are certainly not part of our daily business. But we have the necessary equipment and, above all, drivers with a lot of experience and expertise to successfully tackle such challenges,” says Macedo.<\/p>\n

Sensitivity Required<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Specifically, it was about relocating the metal sculpture ALLESWIRDGUT<\/em> by David Rauer from the Osnabr\u00fcck Castle Park to Willy-Brandt-Platz. The challenge was to load and unload the ten-meter-long, half-ton heavy sculpture, painted in rainbow colors, without damage. When lifting with the loading crane, there was a risk that the artwork could bend and deform under its own weight. Sensitivity was required. But Sievert driver Mario Dimaggio solved the task brilliantly, hoisting the metal sculpture onto the truck bed without a scratch and safely lowering it at the destination.<\/p>\n

Sievert Foundation for Science and Culture<\/strong><\/h5>\n

With his statue funded by the Sievert Foundation for Science and Culture, David Rauer artistically processes the Corona pandemic. Due to its coloring, his sculpture named ALLESWIRDGUT<\/em> resembles a rainbow sprouting from a white cloud. However, instead of forming a well-rounded semicircle, it is jagged and resembles more the curve that represents the Corona reproduction numbers. In the title, Rauer refers to a saying that has been seen on many stickers and posters in Osnabr\u00fcck in recent weeks and months.<\/p>\n
