Hellmann Worldwide Logistics and Qwyk announce a global collaboration to digitize Hellmann’s LCL schedules in sea freight. Current information on available capacities and clearly defined departure and arrival dates help optimize the entire supply chain management.<\/p>\n

(Osnabr\u00fcck \/ Rotterdam) Hellmann Worldwide Logistics and the Dutch startup Qwyk, which operates the largest database for schedules in the areas of FCL, LCL, and airfreight, have announced a global collaboration. As part of the cooperation, Qwyk has been providing data for Hellmann’s global LCL schedules since July. The real-time data is made accessible to customers through the digital frontend “Hellmann Portal.” The availability of more than 2,500 weekly direct LCL departures currently offered by Hellmann increases transparency across the entire sea transport. Current information on available transport capacities and clearly defined departure and arrival dates enable the optimization of the entire supply chain management as well as the pre- and post-carriage processes.<\/p>\n

The cooperation with Qwyk is an important cornerstone of Hellmann’s digitization strategy and a milestone in optimizing LCL customer service. By providing a transparent and digital service offering in real-time and simultaneously reducing manual processes through direct and automated access to live data, the efficiency of transport chains is significantly increased.<\/p>\n

Digital Schedules<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Norman Setzkorn, Global Head of LCL at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics emphasizes: “The schedule initiative is part of our global digital agenda, where we develop solutions and applications for our customers to support their supply chains. Qwyk is the perfect partner for us to digitize processes in our LCL business. With the new database, our customers will have full access to all our schedules worldwide and can choose the connection that meets their individual needs.”<\/p>\n
