The previous collaboration with Heppner is thus coming to an end. Since May, Hellmann has already been cooperating with GEODIS in the UK.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>(Osnabr\u00fcck) July 1, 2020.\u00a0<\/strong>The globally operating full-service provider<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is changing its partner for its France operations and will cooperate with GEODIS, the French market leader in land transport, starting September 1, 2020. This ends Hellmann&#8217;s long-standing collaboration with Heppner and significantly strengthens the groupage transport between Germany and France with the new partner. Since May, Hellmann and GEODIS have been successfully cooperating in the UK and are now expanding their collaboration based on this foundation.<\/h5>\n<p>France is a strategically important market for Hellmann. Last year, the Osnabr\u00fcck logistics company opened its first own sea and air freight branch in France near Paris. With the partner change in land transport, Hellmann is now setting the course for further strategic growth. Over the past decades, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has already established itself as a strong freight forwarder in France and currently serves 10 destinations in France daily. Together with the French market leader GEODIS, which boasts one of the most powerful networks in France with 110 branches, Hellmann is further expanding its product portfolio by offering new routes and increasing the frequency of departures, even in imports.<\/p>\n<h5>France is the most important export market for Hellmann<\/h5>\n<p>&#8220;The French market is the most important export market for Hellmann in the area of land transport, and we are consistently further expanding our strong market position in France traffic with this partnership. With GEODIS, we have found a very powerful and well-positioned partner with whom we can continuously optimize our service offerings for our customers,&#8221; says Matthias Magnor, Chief Operating Officer Road &amp; Rail, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. &#8220;With this partnership, GEODIS becomes the largest provider of goods transport on the France-Germany axis. Customers benefit from a unique, dense, cross-border distribution network and attractive transit times between the two countries.
