The SWAN GmbH, a consulting firm for SAP logistics, has moved into new office spaces in Dortmund to meet the increasing demand for its services. The approximately 330 square meter area provides space for up to 40 employees and is intended to support the company’s growth plans, particularly in the area of operational SAP Digital Supply Chain.
Dortmund plays a central role for SWAN, as the city is located in one of the largest logistics regions in Europe and is in close proximity to universities and research institutions. The company advises industrial and commercial clients on the implementation of SAP-based logistics processes and the transformation to the cloud. The move to the new premises, planned for July 2026, enables SWAN to build an expanded team of SAP consultants, developers, and technology experts.
Strategic Direction and Service Portfolio
The expansion of the Dortmund location is part of SWAN’s strategic direction. The company is expanding its service portfolio in operational SAP Digital Supply Chain, which includes SAP EWM, SAP TM, S/4HANA and cloud transformations, as well as the SAP licensing business. SWAN supports its clients from strategic consulting through technical implementation to long-term operation.

Growth Plans and Market Presence
With the new location in Dortmund, SWAN strengthens its market presence in North Rhine-Westphalia and lays the foundation for further growth. The focus is on SAP development, consulting in the Digital Supply Chain, as well as logistics automation and robotics. Already in 2025, SWAN expanded its location in Walldorf in the SAP PartnerPort, where an area of nearly 270 square meters is available for up to 21 employees. This strategic proximity to SAP is intended to help drive innovations.
For SWAN’s clients, the expansion means an expanded team of experts, shorter communication paths, and close support throughout all phases of their transformation projects. This ranges from modernizing existing SAP landscapes to implementing new cloud and logistics solutions.
