Jul 9, 2026 at 10:49 AMChristine Weckesser took over the management of ELVIS Dienstleistungs GmbH on July 1, 2026. The subsidiary of ELVIS AG is responsible for central purchasing and consulting and provides central services for the partner companies of the network. With Weckesser at the helm, ELVIS AG aims to further expand its service portfolio and strengthen the strategic development of the corporate group.
Nikolja Grabowski, board member of ELVIS AG, emphasizes that Weckesser has been significantly involved in the development of the organization for many years. Her extensive experience and understanding of the values of cooperation make her the right fit for this position. Grabowski also highlights Weckesser’s strategic thinking and commercial competence, which are crucial for the new role.
Weckesser, who has been with ELVIS AG since 2007, has previously held various positions within the company, including in pool trailer management and corporate relations management. Most recently, she led central purchasing and remains a procurator of ELVIS AG, where she continues to be responsible for the projects area.
In her new role, Weckesser will take over the commercial and technical management of the central purchasing and consulting areas. This also includes personnel responsibility for the employees as well as the continuous development of the service portfolio. Weckesser emphasizes that the central purchasing and consulting areas are among ELVIS’s strengths and she aims to further expand them. Another focus of her work will be strengthening project purchasing and developing new services in the field of artificial intelligence in logistics operations.
Weckesser’s appointment is part of a comprehensive organizational development of the corporate group. At the beginning of the year, the central purchasing and consulting areas, including the ELVIS BI Transport offering, were spun off from ELVIS AG into ELVIS Dienstleistungs GmbH. This restructuring has significantly expanded the responsibilities of ELVIS Dienstleistungs GmbH. Grabowski highlights that Weckesser’s appointment is an important step in the long-term succession planning to strengthen the future viability of the network and better align services with the needs of partner companies.
ELVIS AG, established in 2006, is a significant network of trucking companies and carriers in Europe. With over 250 partner companies and a fleet of more than 19,000 trucks, the network is represented at 350 locations in Germany and in more than 30 European countries. The goal of ELVIS AG is to realize advantages for the affiliated companies through economies of scale and collaboration.
