Werner Dettenthaler has taken over as CEO of the Barth Logistics Group. He succeeds Kay Kleinhanß, who led the company on an interim basis and concluded his role on March 31. This change occurs at a time when the Barth Logistics Group is undergoing a strategic realignment and structural changes, as reported by the portal Eurotransport.
Focus on realignment
Dettenthaler brings experience from his previous role at the logistics service provider Gebrüder Weiss. In a post on LinkedIn, Kleinhanß stated, according to the Eurotransport article, that the past months have been characterized by intensive analyses and measures. The realignment was carried out in collaboration with the French shareholder BMV and the local management teams.
