He succeeds Frank Werner, who will remain with the company as Head of Logistics Concepts until the end of July before retiring. Managing Director Armin Riedl spoke positively about Abedi’s onboarding: “Mohsen Abedi has been part of the sales team since September and has adapted very well to his new area of responsibility. With him, we have found a new colleague who brings years of experience and extensive knowledge from various fields of transport logistics to his new position. We look forward to further expanding transport within Germany together with him.”
Abedi brings nearly 20 years of experience in the forwarding and logistics industry. He began his professional career as a merchant for forwarding and logistics services. His career includes positions at Barsan Global Logistics, FedEx Trade Networks, and GEFCO Forwarding. Most recently, he worked at CEVA Freight Germany, where he led and developed teams as an Air Freight Export Manager, optimized processes, and improved quality and efficiency.
Kombiverkehr KG is a company specializing in intermodal transport and plays a central role in the German transport sector. Abedi’s appointment is seen as a strategic step to further expand and optimize national transport activities.
