Christian Stamerjohanns will take over the position of Head of Corporate Communications at the DIRKS Group starting in April 2026. In this role, he will be responsible for all aspects of external and internal corporate communications, public relations, as well as marketing and sales support.
Stamerjohanns brings extensive experience in the communications industry. From mid-2021 to February 2026, he led the communications department of the Federal Association of Logistics (BVL) in Bremen. Previously, he held various senior positions, including as Head of Corporate Communications at the photo service provider CEWE in Oldenburg and as PR Manager at ECE Projektmanagement in Hamburg. He also gained experience at the Authority for Economic Affairs and Labor of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
His academic background includes a degree in political science from the universities in Dresden and Wellington, New Zealand. Stamerjohanns began his professional career after a management trainee program at the publishing house Gruner + Jahr in Hamburg, where he entered press and public relations.
The DIRKS Group will have an experienced communications professional at its helm with Stamerjohanns, who will significantly shape the strategic direction of corporate communications.
