Chancerygate begins expansion into Germany
Mar 23, 2026 at 6:00 PMThe BEUMER Group will present its approaches to mobile robotics at LogiMAT 2026, which takes place from March 24 to 26 in Stuttgart. The focus will be on a humanoid prototype that serves as an example of the future integration of cognitive robotics into intralogistics. With this presentation, the BEUMER Group pursues a long-term innovation strategy that also includes a strategic partnership with the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics IML.
Innovation Approaches in Robotics
The BEUMER Group has established an Enterprise Lab for mobile robotics in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute. This innovation lab aims to promote the development of new technologies and implement the results in prototypes. The humanoid prototype to be presented at LogiMAT takes on a typical manual task from intralogistics and illustrates how robotics and artificial intelligence could work together in the future. The robot serves as a research and demonstration platform, with no specific market launch date currently set.
Dr. Volker Jungbluth, Chief Technology Officer of the BEUMER Group, emphasizes: “For us, the focus is not on technology, but on customer benefits. With the humanoid prototype, we want to stimulate the discussion on how robotics can be thought of more flexibly in the future and how standardized mobile approaches can meaningfully complement existing automation.”
Long-term Customer Perspectives
The BEUMER Group sees itself as a long-term partner for its customers and aims to secure their investments through continuous innovation and comprehensive lifecycle support. With over 90 years of experience in conveyor technology and intralogistics, the company combines technological advancement with system competence and global presence. The presentation at LogiMAT is part of this strategy to discuss current developments in robotics and automation and to engage in dialogue with customers and partners.
Overall, the BEUMER Group will showcase at LogiMAT 2026 how it intends to shape the intralogistics of the future through innovative approaches in mobile robotics.
