This decision aims to analyze costs in comparison to the market and support strategic decisions. The company, which has a network of over 100 trade routes, seeks to optimize its logistics processes through this partnership, as stated by Xeneta.
Kärcher, a family-owned manufacturer based in Winnenden, operates in the field of cleaning technology. Since its founding in 1935, the company has developed into a global market leader, particularly through the introduction of the first high-pressure cleaner for hot water in Europe in 1950, according to Xeneta. Today, Kärcher offers a wide range of solutions for cleaning and maintenance, targeting both professional users and private households.
Optimization of the supply chain
The decision to partner with Xeneta was made to address specific challenges in the supply chain. Kärcher requires an analysis of transport costs on the various routes connecting its production and logistics sites in Europe, North America, and Asia. This includes locations in Germany, Italy, Romania, Latvia, the USA, Mexico, Brazil, China, Vietnam, and India.
The partnership with Xeneta is expected to enable the company to improve the service levels and reliability of its deliveries. By gaining access to independent freight data, Kärcher hopes to establish a foundation for negotiations, analyses, and reporting.
