The Aparkado UG has expanded the LKW.APP with a new feature that allows users to book secured TRAVIS parking spaces across Europe. From now on, over 750 TRAVIS truck parking spaces in 16 European countries can be reserved directly through the LKW.APP. This expansion complements the existing database of the app, which already includes more than 50,000 truck parking spaces, creating a structured network of secured and reservable parking options.
TRAVIS Network in Europe
The TRAVIS network spans central transit markets in Western, Central, and Northern Europe, including Germany, France, Spain, Italy, and the Benelux region. Along key European transport corridors, TRAVIS offers secured parking areas with defined security levels. Drivers can find these locations in the familiar LKW.APP environment and make reservations with just a few clicks.
The collaboration with TRAVIS enhances the parking information of the LKW.APP by adding bookable and secured parking options. Drivers who wish to reserve in advance benefit from guaranteed availability and clearly defined security standards. This combination of reservation options and real-time occupancy information allows users to better plan their rest periods. For fleets and dispatchers, this provides an additional way to organize transport processes flexibly and systematically.
Optimization of Parking Search
With the integration of booking options for secured parking, Aparkado is further developing the LKW.APP to meet the real needs of drivers. Depending on the situation, they can choose between a forecast-based parking search and a pre-reserved parking space. Thus, the LKW.APP combines its proven real-time and occupancy information with an optional booking option, supporting flexible and planned route and break management.
