With this transaction, Austrian Post has strengthened its existing activities in cross-border online trade in Southeastern and Eastern Europe.
Walter Oblin, CEO of Austrian Post, described the move as an important part of the growth strategy „Lead 2030.“ The cooperation aims to create an expanded e-commerce system that supports merchants along their entire international supply chains.
The provider connects online shops through an interface with various e-commerce platforms and also with transport solutions. This gives merchants improved access to markets in Southeastern and Eastern Europe.
Founded in 2012, the company „euShipments.com“ operates several fulfilment locations and supports online retailers with services along the entire e-commerce value chain. More than 1,300 customers use the network, which focuses mainly on markets in Southeastern and Eastern Europe.
