Feb 19, 2026 at 8:59 AMMOSOLF Port Logistics & Services (MPLS) has announced the establishment of a new terminal in the port of Ostend. With this step, the company is expanding its European port network and strengthening its presence in the North Sea region. The new location is expected to create additional capacity for the transport of seafaring vehicles as well as for specialized services, according to the company.
Strategic expansion of the network
MPLS plans to technically process vehicles on-site and prepare them for redistribution. This is intended to enable seamless integration into the existing MOSOLF network. The terminal covers an area of approximately 80,000 m² and offers expansion possibilities up to 200,000 m². Currently, up to 3,000 vehicles can be parked. The infrastructure will also be complemented by a workshop and a high-voltage charging facility. With a draft of 8 to 9 m, the terminal can accommodate around 80 percent of the global RoRo fleet, according to the company.
