Feb 10, 2026 at 12:35 PMK2 Mobility, a provider of software solutions for the electrification of heavy fleets, has appointed Dirk Reich as a new member of the board effective January 1. In this role, he will support the company’s European and global expansion.
Dirk Reich brings extensive experience from the logistics industry, having worked with various renowned companies such as the shipping company DFDS, Swiss Post, and Log-hub AG. His expertise in global market development and as an investor and board member of Log-hub AG is considered valuable for the strategic direction of K2 Mobility.
Challenges of Electrification
Reich commented on the challenges associated with fleet electrification. „The biggest challenge, in my view, is the fear of the new,“ he explained. Many companies hesitate to change existing processes or invest in new technologies. With the software solution PANION, which integrates all relevant data such as route plans, battery statuses, and charging infrastructure in real-time, he sees the opportunity to overcome this hurdle. „This makes the transition to e-mobility manageable and economically viable,“ he added.
In his new role, Dirk Reich will support K2 Mobility in strategic decisions. This includes the further development of governance structures, assistance with market entries, and the support of key growth initiatives in Europe and beyond.
Expansion and Market Development
Markus Kröger, CEO of K2 Mobility, emphasized the importance of Reich’s experience for the company’s upcoming expansion plans. „We are entering a crucial phase of expansion and are very pleased to welcome Dirk Reich to our board,“ said Kröger. His knowledge in international logistics and in building global markets is seen as critical to further establishing the PANION platform in Europe and beyond.
K2 Mobility specializes in developing software solutions that support the economic electrification of heavy commercial vehicle and bus fleets. The cloud-based SaaS platform PANION integrates transport management, vehicle telemetry, charging infrastructure, and power grid in real-time. Companies such as ASKO/NorgesGruppen, Amazon ATS, Schenker, Posten Bring, and Hansea are already utilizing K2 Mobility’s intelligent charging and energy management solution.
