Andreas Schmid Group leases in Olching

In Olching, northwest of Munich, the Andreas Schmid Group has leased a warehouse and office space of approximately 6,800 square meters. The transaction was facilitated by the logistics real estate advisor Logivest. The owner of the property at Gewerbering 14-16 is a company managed by AEW.

The Andreas Schmid Group, which specializes in beverage logistics, has been awarded the logistics contract for a traditional brewery in Munich, as reported by Logivest. To meet the requirements, the company sought a suitable space in the western part of Munich. The newly leased space is located near the federal road A471 and provides access to the federal motorway A8. This location is considered advantageous for logistical operations.

Growth in the Munich Surroundings

Alexander Dempfle, Consultant for Industrial and Logistics Letting at Logivest in Munich, commented on the choice of location: “Olching is an interesting and very high-quality logistics location due to its proximity to the A8 and its position in the Munich metropolitan area. Currently, we are sensing that demand in the Munich region is picking up again and the market is slowly stabilizing.” This assessment indicates that the region is gaining increasing importance for logistics companies.
