The EPG has expanded its pick-by-voice solution „LYDIA Voice“ with a new feature that integrates gamification elements into the picking process. This development aims to enhance monotonous routine tasks that characterize daily work in picking through playful approaches, as the company reports.
Studies indicate, according to EPG, that motivation, concentration, and team dynamics have a significant impact on quality and productivity in logistics. Against this backdrop, EPG has developed „LYDIA Gamification,“ which utilizes scientifically based gamification strategies to increase employee motivation. The new features are integrated into the existing voice dialogue, meaning that daily operations in the warehouse do not need to be disrupted or altered.
