At LogiMAT 2026, one of the leading trade fairs for intralogistics, international exhibitors present innovative solutions based on AI methods. These technologies aim to optimize processes and provide companies with comprehensive added value.
Challenges and Solutions in Digital Transformation
According to a recent study by IDC and SAS, many companies struggle to realize the benefits of AI due to inadequate IT structures. Trust in AI technologies is often low, as security and control measures are lacking. Various approaches will be presented at LogiMAT 2026 to address these challenges. Michael Ruchty, the exhibition director of LogiMAT, emphasizes that automation and AI are crucial factors for success in intralogistics. Exhibitors demonstrate how AI can be integrated into existing business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
In the software sector, numerous new developments are being showcased. The WMS provider Logistics Reply presents the solution „GaliLEA Dynamic Intelligence,“ which facilitates the creation and deployment of AI agents. These agents can analyze data from various sources and support operational decisions in real-time. Inform GmbH also showcases its AI-based forecasting service „Demand AI,“ a cloud-based solution that generates product forecasts and seamlessly integrates into existing systems.
Optimization of In-House Transportation
Another focus is on optimizing in-house transportation. Brabender Solutions GmbH presents a Transport Management System (TMS) that includes AI-supported feedback and document extraction. Flexus AG has integrated AI and digital twins into the control of transport vehicles with „FlexGuide4“ to make processes more efficient. Pass Logistics Solutions AG demonstrates a cloud-based route planning software that optimizes routes for electric vehicles.
In the field of plant and conveyor technology, the robot-picking solution „eOperator“ by Element Logic is introduced, enabling fully automated order picking. advasolutions SE presents an adaptive end-to-end automation that links various logistical processes together. Knapp AG showcases „Knapp Brain,“ an AI platform that integrates and analyzes all aspects of the value chain in real-time.
Low-Threshold Use of AI
AI applications are also being utilized in the AutoID segment. Keyence Deutschland GmbH presents a stationary code reader that can capture codes even under challenging conditions. Imago Technologies demonstrates how AI can be used in intralogistics at a low threshold to detect deviations from targets early on.
In the area of industrial trucks and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), Continua Systems showcases the analysis platform „Automation Insights,“ which identifies patterns in data and predicts potential failures.
Ruchty summarizes that AI in intralogistics is not an unattainable goal but a technology that contributes to optimizing material flows at various process levels. This year’s LogiMAT is themed „Passion for Details,“ where precise data analysis and support for efficient processes can provide significant competitive advantages.
