L.I.T. Speditions GmbH expands UK transport
Jan 30, 2026 at 10:28 AMThe Alpega Group has announced the overhaul of its transport execution platform, now operating under the name Alpega Transport Execution. The platform, previously known as Connected, has been comprehensively redesigned to accelerate implementation, expand access to carriers, and optimize operational processes for shippers in Europe.
Optimization of Transport Execution in the European Market
Alpega Transport Execution offers seamless integration with existing systems such as TMS, ERP, and planning tools. The platform aims to standardize the assignment and communication with carriers and is capable of efficiently scaling thousands of daily transports.
The modular, API-based architecture of the platform enables rapid implementation and helps logistics teams move away from spreadsheets and fragmented workflows. This creates a unified environment where shippers, carriers, and logistics teams can work with the same real-time information.
Extensions and New Features
New features include an expanded network of carriers that provides direct access to one of the largest road freight networks in Europe. Over 80,000 vetted carriers are available for full and partial loads (FTL/LTL), covering the entire process from order processing to invoicing.
Another feature is the shipper-pays model, which ensures transparent pricing without hidden costs and fosters long-term partnerships between shippers and carriers.
Continuity for Existing Users
For existing customers, daily operations remain unchanged. Login credentials, functionalities, and core features do not change. The updated user interface is designed to enhance usability and facilitate navigation.
Georgia Leybourne, Chief Marketing Officer of the Alpega Group, commented on the company’s goals: “As the logistics landscape becomes increasingly complex, our aim is to simplify transport execution for our customers. This is not just a rebranding. It is a platform that is consistently aligned with the actual needs of our customers: speed, transparency, and reliability – enabling them to achieve new levels of efficiency and collaboration across the entire supply chain.”
