Bridgestone with tips for economical driving
Jan 29, 2026 at 1:55 PMSEAL Robotics has completed a pre-seed funding round of $2.1 million to advance the development and scaling of robotic systems in terminal logistics. The funding was led by Creator Fund, with participation from Auxxo, January Ventures, Marvelous, and Stefan Tietze, as the company reports.
Automation of Safety-Critical Processes
The Munich-based startup focuses on automating safety-critical processes that have previously been performed manually in container handling. In particular, robotic systems are to be developed for handling twistlocks and pins. These technologies aim to stabilize operations in terminals and address challenges such as increasing time pressure, a shortage of skilled workers, and growing demands for planning, occupational safety, and reliability. SEAL Robotics also plans to expand pilot projects in Northern Europe and Southeast Asia.
